Situation around Ukraine's Kurakhove is expected to worsen - DeepState
As of November 11, the Russian army has been storming Ukrainian positions near Kurakhove in the Donetsk region from the north, south, and east. Analysts say the situation is worsening
This was reported by DeepState.
"Russia continues to implement its large-scale plan to encircle the city, coming in from the flanks. As we noted earlier, the Russians, having increased pressure from new directions, are trying to enter the logistics routes of the Defence Forces, and since then this process has only been gaining momentum," the statement said.
It is noted that the northern and southern parts are intended to bypass the city from the flanks, where it is important for the enemy to take at least the H15 Zaporizhzhia-Donetsk highway under fire control. From the south, the movement is carried out along the Yasna Polyana-Maksymivka-Trudove direction, where the Russian forces are making progress with constant pressure and losses, but, according to analysts, they are making progress.
"There are about 10 km from the railway to the line, and the IFS in this area leave much to be desired (we will show them later). From the north, the Russians focused their maximum attention on the village of Sontsivka, and had attempts to successfully enter the village, but so far the Defence Forces have managed to destroy the infantry," DeepState added.
According to the analysts, the situation in the area of Antonivka-Katerynivka-Yelizavetivka is unfavourable.
- Over the past day, the Russian army advanced in Toretsk and near three settlements in Donetsk region.
