DeepState claims Russia entered Sumy region: General Staff, Regional Military Administration deny
The General Staff has denied reports by DeepState OSINT analysts that the occupying Russian forces have allegedly advanced near Oleksandria in Sumy region
This was stated by the spokesman of the General Staff, Major Dmytro Lykhoviy, in a comment to LB.ua.
‘Regarding media reports that Russians have allegedly occupied almost 2 square kilometres of Sumy region. The information is not true. Both the relevant operational and tactical group of the Armed Forces and border guards deny such reports,’ he said.
The General Staff spokesman called for trusting information exclusively from official sources.
Earlier, the Sumy Regional Military Administration also called the reports about the border crossing spread in the media ‘hostile disinformation that does not correspond to reality.’
‘Currently, there is no information from the military about changes in the situation at the border, the situation is under control,’ said Volodymyr Artyukh, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
