Lipavský wrote about this on his page on X.
“Friday - The Kremlin Tzar allegedly signals he wants peace. Saturday - Bombs a hypermarket full of civilians. Don’t buy into the Kremlin fairytales," he noted.
He also promised to raise the issue of strengthening support for Ukraine to “contain Russian imperialism” at a NATO ministerial meeting in Prague.
At the same time, in a statement on X, Charles Michel called the Russian attack on Kharkiv “atrocious.”
“Russia’s efforts to terrorise Ukrainian civilians as part of its war of aggression against Ukraine are criminal. Together, we can stop Russia’s brutal attacks. We need to urgently advance on a comprehensive air defence solution for Ukraine,” he emphasized.
- On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv’s civilian infrastructure throughout the day. In particular, the Epicenter construction hypermarket was hit.
