Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk shared the information on Espreso TV.

“In Crimea, the situation remains unchanged. In fact, Crimea is still a Russian military base, but now without ships. We’ve already passed that stage, which is excellent. I hope that the next stage will at least see a reduction in Russia’s air equipment,” Pletenchuk said.

According to the spokesperson, social sentiment among the population is worsening due to shortages of fuel and water.

“The main tool of Russian occupiers in Crimea remains air equipment. The Russians use aircraft to carry out most tasks both at sea and in the air: controlling the surface situation, patrolling, countering drones, and striking targets. It’s worth noting that there are five airfields in Crimea. The rest of the situation in Crimea remains unchanged. There is a high density of air defense systems. On the one hand, Crimea has many air defense systems; on the other, there is little water and fuel. This also affects how people perceive life in the occupied territories. Social sentiment there certainly does not improve because of this,” he added.

  • On the night of September 30, units of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces struck the radar station of the Russian S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system.
