Chinese 'peace plan', along with Indian one, looks like plan to divide Russia - political strategist
Political strategist Taras Zahorodnyi believes that if Ukraine organizes chaos in the Russian energy sector, there is a high probability of a change in the Russian government
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"I believe that India will not unveil a ‘peace plan’ at this time, as they have a negative example of the Chinese plan. It provided for an end to the war on the contact line and the start of negotiations. The problem is that the Chinese could not even imagine that Ukrainian troops would be on Russian territory, and that Russia is so rotten that Ukrainians could occupy part of its territory. Now the Chinese plan, along with a possible Indian plan, looks like a plan to dismember Russia, if we are talking about ending the war," Zahorodnyi said.
According to the political strategist, the Chinese and Indian ‘peace plan’ in no way reflects reality, as Putin has already voiced his position on the eve of the first peace summit: he wants official recognition of the annexation of five Ukrainian regions, and this recognition should be made by the world's leading countries, such as the United States, India, China, Germany and others. Of course, this will never happen.
"Russia has demonstrated its weakness, which has led to a significant loss of influence on the world stage. Talks that Russia can guarantee anyone's security in the world are now irrelevant for many decades to come. Thus, all this talk is empty, because as long as Putin is in power, Russia will continue to wage war. Or Ukraine will organise chaos in Russia's energy sector this autumn and winter. And then there is a very high probability that the government may change because of the chaos that Ukraine can organise in Moscow," Zahorodnyi said.
