Children are being forcibly evacuated from three frontline villages in Sumy region
Due to the security situation in three settlements of the Sumy region, it was decided to involuntarily evacuate children
The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reports.
The children, together with their parents or other legal representatives, will be evacuated to places of safe accommodation.
In total, it is planned to evacuate 54 children from three settlements of Shostka district to different regions that have expressed their readiness to accept them.
The decision was approved by the members of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law.
During a meeting to discuss this issue, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in the process of evacuating children from dangerous areas.

Earlier, the head of the Velyka Pysarivka community, Liudmyla Biriukova, told Espreso that about 1,500 people still live in the 5-kilometer zone from the border with Russia in the Sumy region.
