Car bomb targets Russian-backed Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant security chief
On October 4, a car carrying Andrii Korotkyi, 'head of physical security' at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, blew up in the Russian-occupied city of Enerhodar
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine repored the information.
"On October 4, 2024, at about 7 a.m., a car carrying a war criminal, the 'head of physical security’ of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, Korotkyi Andrii Yuriiovych," the Ukrainian intelligence noted.
They said that Korotkyi is a collaborator involved in the organization and execution of war crimes and persecution of Ukrainians under Russian occupation.
After the seizure of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, he voluntarily cooperated with the invading Russian forces, provided them with lists of the plant's employees with their personal data, pointing to citizens with a pro-Ukrainian position.
Korotkyi also contributed to the persecution of nuclear power plant personnel and war crimes against civilians in the Russian-occupied Enerhodar.
He organized events aimed at supporting the occupying Russian army and, as a member of Putin's United Russia party, headed the so-called council of deputies in Enerhodar.
