Budanov: Ukraine faces tough times ahead, but no Armageddon

Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, indicated that times ahead will be difficult but not catastrophic, including both the frontlines and the internal political landscape of the country

He shared it in an interview with the BBC.

Budanov stated, "We're looking at a tough period in the near future, according to our estimates. It's not doomsday, we should understand that. Armageddon won't unfold, as some are saying. But we'll face difficulties starting from mid-May."

He underscored the multifaceted nature of the challenges, encompassing both military operations and internal politics, as part of Russia's comprehensive strategy.

"Let’s not dwell on it for long, but brace for a tough stretch. Mid-May, early June... I’m talking about everything," predicted Budanov.
