British intelligence names Russia's priority frontline areas

UK intelligence has analyzed the situation at the front and suggested that the coming weeks could be difficult for the Ukrainian army

The UK Ministry of Defence reported the information.

It noted that Russia will concentrate operations west of Avdiivka and Marinka, cities in the Donetsk region. These areas accounted for 60% of recorded Russian attacks over the past four weeks.

However, according to intelligence, the average number of reported weekly Russian attacks has decreased by 60% since the end of February 2024, when the average weekly figure reached 600 attacks.

"It is highly likely that the overall situation will be challenging for Ukrainian forces in coming weeks with Russia continuing to regenerate forces and carry out attacks on priority axes," the report added.
