Belarusian leader Lukashenko calls "hot spot in Ukraine" main risk for Belarus

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday, April 25, that the main real risk for the country is the war in Ukraine

This is reported by the state agency of Belarus BelTA.

"Today we will talk about the ways and means by which threats to our national security are being escalated. A hotspot in the region - Ukraine, of course - poses the main real risk," Lukashenko said.

In addition, in his opinion, the United States is allegedly doing everything possible to drag Belarus into the conflict: "Washington is doing everything to drag our country into the conflict. To launch a mechanism to involve other states, that is, to weaken both Western and Eastern European regions."

At the same time, he commented on the allocation of aid to Ukraine and said that it was "the most important factor in the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine."
