Belarusian army ready to invade Ukraine - founder of BYPOL initiative

Alexander Azarov, the founder of the BYPOL initiative of Belarusian security forces against Lukashenko, noted that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Belarusian army has been constantly preparing for war, but the Belarusian military does not want to take part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine

He told this on Espreso TV.

"Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Belarusian army has been constantly preparing for war. Lukashenko has modernised the weapons he received from Russia, which means that we are talking about weapons that Belarus did not have before. And the Belarusian army is under intense pressure from the Russian army, which means that the Belarusian military is being turned into zombies, people of the pro-Russian world. People are actually losing their Belarusian identity," said the founder of the BYPOL initiative.

According to him, Belarusian propaganda is aimed at making the citizens and military of Belarus feel like Russians. Everything is going to unite these two nations into one.

"As for the borders, at the beginning of the war, the special operations forces were on the border with Ukraine, and now, according to our information, they have been withdrawn and returned to their places of deployment. Most of the reconnaissance activities and actions take place on the border, with electronic warfare units being sent there and locators being installed to conduct reconnaissance. Groups controlled by the Belarusian border guards are constantly moving. But in reality, the army is already prepared for invasion of Ukraine. However, we do not believe that such an invasion can take place, because it would lead to catastrophic consequences. And the Belarusian military itself does not want to take part in direct hostilities on the territory of Ukraine," Azarov concluded.
