Russia intensifies attacks on Ukraine’s Chasiv Yar — Ukraine’s 24th Brigade

"The situation is tough. The enemy is trying to storm our positions. Over the past week, their attacks have intensified. In addition to their usual tactics of deploying small groups to infiltrate our rear and act quickly, they’ve now resumed head-on assaults on our positions," Polukhin said.

According to Polukhin, Russian forces are attempting to breach Ukrainian defenses around the clock.

"These attempts haven’t succeeded so far. Their tactics aren’t working — our defenders are holding the line and doing everything they can," he added.

• As of December 2, there have been 201 combat clashes on the frontlines. The Russian activity is most concentrated in the Kurakhove direction, with 67 recorded attacks there.
• Russian forces also attempted to secure and hold a position on the right bank of the Oskil River in the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian defenders pushed them back.
