Attackers hack into Espreso TV broadcasting system
On the evening of Monday, February 19, unknown attackers hacked into the broadcasting system of the Espreso TV channel
This was reported by the channel's press service.
On Monday, at about 7:30 p.m., unknown hackers gained access to the broadcast signal of the Espreso TV channel. The attackers posted a short video on the channel with footage of destroyed Ukrainian cities, a video with Joe Biden and a call to stop, hinting at the alleged involvement of the United States in the war in Ukraine.
“We are sorry that our viewers could see this provocative video on the air. Russia is fully responsible for the war in Ukraine. This is an obvious fact that the authors of the video tried to distort. This makes it clear that the Russians are involved in the attack on Espreso TV,” the channel's press service commented.
The Espreso team has already taken all the necessary security measures and is preparing to file a report with law enforcement agencies.
