American missteps empower China
Trump is betting on Putin, hoping he will choose him over the necrocrats’ club led by Xi
The support of Moscow's war machine by Beijing is not on the table in negotiations between the U.S. and China. Explanation: it is not a vital interest of Washington.
The U.S. imposes tariffs against its partners. Explanation: it is an important interest for Washington.
7 out of 12 countries whose citizens are banned from entering the U.S. are from the African continent. The same explanation: it is an important interest for Washington.
The U.S. no longer actively participates in making decisions important to the world, because it supposedly also does not fall within their interests.
This list could go on. But the common thread is this: Beijing benefits from each of these decisions.
Obviously, the interests of the U.S. and China do not coincide. And I find it hard to believe that the Trump administration is consciously playing in China's interests.
"But step by step, the Americans' erroneous decisions strengthen China."
Even in the absence of these mistakes, without a coalition, Washington could do little in the long run.
Now, Trump is betting on Putin, hoping he will choose him over the necrocrats’ club led by Xi. We in the coalition know how the Kremlin acts in such cases. And we act accordingly.
When this realization comes to Trump, the greatest damage will be done to the most important American interests. And one key question will remain: can the mistakes still be corrected? Or will the one who wanted to be the main peacemaker of our time become the one who brings a great war home?
