This was reported by the Air Force.

"On February 25, 2025, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a successful high-precision strike on a residential building that was used by the 1429th motorized rifle regiment of the Russians as a command-observation post and a UAV launch site, near the village of Kopani in Zaporizhzhia region," the report states.

As a result of the attack, "the ability of Russian forces to terrorize the Ukrainian civilian population has been significantly reduced."

The Air Force added that they would continue operations to destroy Russian forces, their equipment, and military infrastructure until the occupiers leave Ukrainian territory.

  • For air patrols over Ukraine to be effective, European air forces would need to be stationed directly in Ukraine, which would require significant upgrades to Ukrainian airbases.
