"Active hostilities continue in the Svatove sector, particularly in the areas of Nevske, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Torske. Occupiers are using multiple rocket launchers and drones," noted Vlasenko.

The head of the Sieverodonetsk District Military Administration also added that large-scale fires have been observed in the forests around Sieverodonetsk, particularly near Voronove and Metiolkine, for several days.

"There is information that the fire has spread to the local cemetery, and the smoke is drawing in the city. The occupiers' forces involved in controlling the spread of the fire are insufficient. They restrict the movement of people in the area, but are unable to effectively fight fires of this magnitude," Vlasenko said.
