"The brigade continues to be located south of Bakhmut, in Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar. We are in active defense, the situation is very tense. The Russian army is storming our positions 24/7, but there are no tactical successes. The situation has already improved with FPV drones. Previously, the Russians had five times more drones, now it's about one to three. We are actively supported by Ukrainian companies, friends, and donors. The state has also started buying more FPVs, and while last year we received only 300 drones from the state, this year we have received much more," Malyarevych said.
According to the deputy commander of the 92nd Brigade's Achilles battalion, the drone cannot completely replace artillery.
"The FPV drone carries less explosives, and we have to complement each other. The operational command, which sees the battle picture, must have all the means of destruction at hand and have a combined firepower. There is no need to chase the number of drones, only those that actually fly should be bought. Many businessmen try to get drones from China and sell them, and then they lie around and don't fly, and we have to fix them. We don't get such drones because we know what kind of drones we need. We need to ask the units for technical specifications and supply them with exactly what flies on their shade of the front because each shade is different," Malyarevych added.
