86 clashes occur at front as Russia pushes in Pokrovsk, Kurakhove sectors

Since the start of November 19, there have been 86 combat clashes at the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors, Russian forces launched 32 attacks on Ukrainian positions

Ukraine’s General Staff reported this information.

"The situation at the front remains tense. Ukrainian forces are continuing to firmly resist Russia’s attempts to push deeper into Ukrainian territory," the General Staff stated.

Today, there have been 86 combat clashes along the frontline. The situation is particularly intense in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors.

Russian forces are also using aviation and artillery along the border areas of Ukraine's Sumy region. The towns of Zhuravka, Vodolahy, Volfyne, Riasne, Mezenivka, and Basivka were hit by artillery, while Oleksandriia and Yunakivka were targeted by MLRS.

Additionally, Russian aircraft dropped 14 guided bombs on the Kursk region, Russia.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched four attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, two of which were repelled.

In the Kupyansk sector, the Russian army attacked five times near Kindrashivka, Lozova, and Kruhliakivka, but all attacks were successfully repelled.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces are trying to advance near Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Torske, and Terny. Since the start of the day, there have been eight combat clashes in this sector, with one still ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Russia didn't launch any offensive actions but dropped 13 guided aerial bombs on Siversk and Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one firefight continues near Stupochky. Russian forces also dropped aerial bombs near Stinky and Mykolaivka.

The number of Russian attacks in the Toretsk sector has increased to six. Russian forces attacked near Toretsk, Druzhba, and Shcherbynivka, where Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks. Three more clashes are still ongoing. At the same time, the Russian army carried out airstrikes on Romanivka, Kostiantynivka, and Sukha Balka.

Russia was most active in the Pokrovsk sector, launching 19 attacks during the day near Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka, Dachenske, Pustynka, and Pushkine. Ukrainian forces held their ground, repelling 16 attacks, with three firefights still ongoing. Russia also launched airstrikes near Stara Mykolaivka and Oleksandropil.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian troops attacked 13 times since the morning. They tried to advance near Novoselydivka, Sontsivka, Berestky, Kurakhove, Dalne, and Antonivka, and launched airstrikes on Romanivka and Hannivka. Fighting is ongoing in six locations, with seven attacks already repelled.

In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight attacks near Kostiantynopolske, Trudove, Rozdolne, and Novodarivka. Three firefights are still ongoing near Velyka Novosilka, where Russian forces dropped three guided aerial bombs.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled an enemy attack near Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, there was one unsuccessful attack by the Russian army.

There were no significant changes in other areas of the front.

  • Over the past day on the Russian-Ukrainian front, the occupying army lost another 1,610 troops. Total Russian losses since the start of the full-scale war have reached 724,000 personnel.
