81 clashes occur at front, Russian army attacks Kursk region with guided bombs - Ukraine's General Staff

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.

Today, Russian artillery and mortars hit the communities of Pavlivka, Luhivka, Liubymivka, Dehtiarne, Vidrodzhenivske, Romashkove, Khmeliv, Mezenivka, Brusky, Bobylivka, Rudak, Stepok, Studenok, Svoboda, Chaikyne, and Vilna Sloboda in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. 

Additionally, Russian forces carried out air strikes using guided aerial bombs in the areas of Hyrine, Peremoha, Novenke, Yastrubyne, and Shalyhyne.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces are attempting to storm Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces five times near Synkivka, Stepova, Novoselivka, Lozova, and Stelmakhivka, with one battle still ongoing. Additionally, Russian aircraft struck Kupyansk and Kivsharivka with five guided aerial bombs.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Druzheliubivka, Cherneshchyna, Nevske, Torske, Novosadove, and Terny. Thirteen of these battles have concluded, with one still in progress.

In the Siversk sector, Russian forces continue their attacks near Vyimka, but their recent assault failed.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled seven Russian attacks near Kalynivka, Maiske, and Andriivka since the start of the day, with three battles still ongoing. The Russian army also struck Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, and Stupochky with guided aerial bombs and unguided aerial missiles. 

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses eight times near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Nelipivka. They also launched strikes on Toretsk, Bila Hora, and Oleksandro-Kalynove using guided aerial bombs, and targeted Druzhba and Dachne with unguided aerial missiles.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian invaders tried 12 times to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from positions near Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretsk, Novohrodivka, Selydove, Marynivka, and Mykhailivka. The defense forces successfully repelled 10 of these attacks, with two clashes still ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian forces launched 13 attacks targeting Tsukuryne, Hirnyk, Zhelanne Pershe, Heorhiivka, Katerynivka, and Kostiantynivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled seven of these attempts.

In the Vremivka sector, there were four hostile attacks near Katerynivka and Vuhledar, with one battle still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted an assault near Huliaipole.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions four times near Robotyne, Novoandriivka, and Novodanylivka, with one firefight continuing.

Additionally, an operation is underway in the Kursk region, where Russian aircraft have been striking their own villages and towns. According to Ukraine’s General Staff, Russian planes conducted twelve strikes using twenty guided aerial bombs on their own territory since the start of the day.
