Ukraine reports 64 clashes along frontline: Russia attacks in Pokrovsk sector 29 times

This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in their daily update as of 16:00.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding off the Russian invaders' offensive. The forces are taking necessary actions to prevent the Russians from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory. At the moment, the total number of combat clashes stands at 64," the General Staff stated.

Situation in main frontline directions:

In the Kharkiv direction, Russia attacked Ukrainian positions near Dvorichna once. The clash continues.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian invaders conducted one attack near Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, the Russians carried out six attacks near Yamplivka and towards the settlement of Nove today. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian soldiers are attempting to advance towards Oleksandro-Shultyne, but the attack was repelled.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces are trying to breach Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, and Dilyivka. Our defenders have repelled six assaults, and three attacks are still ongoing.

Since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have made 29 attempts to push Ukrainian forces from their positions in the areas of Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zvirive, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Oleksiivka, and Andriivka on the Pokrovsk direction. The Defense Forces are holding off the assault, having repelled 24 attacks, with five clashes still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy assaults. The Russians attempted to advance near Kostyantynopil.

In the Hulyaipole direction, Russia is attacking Ukrainian positions near Novopillia, with one clash still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russians made two attacks towards Stepove. The fighting is ongoing. Airstrikes with KABs targeted Yasna Poliana, Blakytny, and Novoivanivka.

Since the beginning of the day, in the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not carry out offensive operations, but launched airstrikes on Burhunka and Vyrivka.

The operation in the Kursk region continues. Ukrainian forces have repelled nine Russian attacks today, with four clashes still ongoing. The Russian aviation carried out seven airstrikes in this direction, dropping eight KABs.

In the Siverskyi direction, Russian forces did not conduct offensive actions.

No significant changes have occurred in other sectors.
