193 clashes at front: Ukraine repels 88 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk sector

Over the past day, there were 193 combat engagements on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk sector alone, the Russian army carried out 88 assaults

Over the past day, 193 combat engagements took place.  

According to the updated information, yesterday the Russian aggressor launched two missile strikes and 33 air strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using two missiles and 71 guided bombs. In addition, it fired over 5,000 artillery rounds, 84 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,424 'kamikaze' drones.  

5 settlements in Donetsk region; 1 settlement in Kherson region; 1 settlement in Zaporizhzhia region were hit by Russian air strikes.

Over the past day, the missile forces and artillery of Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted one strike on an ammunition depot, seven strikes on areas of Russian troops and military equipment concentration, two strikes on command and control centers and two strikes on Russian artillery systems.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, seven combat engagements with Russian troops took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia yesterday.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 14 Russian attacks in the areas of Kutkivka, Kindrashivka, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka and Bohuslavka. 

In the Lyman direction, the number of combat engagements reached 10 over the last day. The invaders concentrated their main efforts in the areas of Novoiehorivka, Bohuslavka, Novoliubivka, Makiivka and in Serebryanske forestry.  

In the Siversk direction, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 17 times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Novosilka and Verkhnekamianske.  

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces countered 11 Russian attempts to advance near Predtechyne, Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar.  

In the Toretsk direction, the Russians made 20 attempts to penetrate the Ukrainian defense in the vicinity of Krymske, Dyliivka, Dachne, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.  

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian troops rebuffed 88 attacks. The Russian forces tried to advance near the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Lysivka, Zelene, Vidrodzhennia, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Serhiivka, Udachne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Novovasylivka, Novooleksandrivka, Oleksiivka, Muravka, Dachne, Bohdanivka, Kurakhove and Ulakly. 

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops. In the vicinity of Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv, the invaders tried to break through Ukrainian defenses seven times. 

In the Huliaipole direction, the Russians attacked the area of Novosilka five times.  

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Ukrainian troops fought off one Russian attack.  

In the Kursk direction, ten combat engagements took place yesterday, the Russians launched 24 air strikes using 34 guided bombs, and carried out more than 300 artillery attacks, including three from multiple rocket launchers.  

In the Orikhiv direction, the occupying Russian army did not conduct any offensive actions yesterday.  

On the border with Belarus, the operational situation remained unchanged.  

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian military is using artillery in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements. 

  • Over the last day, the invading Russian army lost 1,670 servicemen at the front. Ukraine's Defense Forces destroyed several pieces of Russian equipment, including 10 tanks.
