Ukraine's General Staff reports 189 skirmishes at Russian-Ukrainian front

Yesterday, Russia launched two missile strikes on Ukrainian positions and civilian areas, firing four missiles in total. Additionally, there were 75 airstrikes, with 118 guided bombs dropped, and over 4,600 artillery attacks, including 109 using MLRS systems.

"Yesterday, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery carried out 15 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel and equipment, along with one strike on air defense systems and two on missile and artillery positions," the General Staff reported.

Frontline situation

Kharkiv direction: Three Russian attacks occurred near Vovchansk and Tykhe.

Kupyansk direction: Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions around Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka, and Stelmakhivka, launching ten assaults near Lozova.

Lyman direction: Russian troops attacked 21 times, attempting advances near seven settlements, focusing heavily on Hrekivka and Novoliubivka.

Kramatorsk direction: Russian forces launched eight attacks near Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Klishchiivka.

Toretsk direction: With air support, Russian troops conducted ten assaults near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Nelipivka.

Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled 54 assaults and offensive actions around Novotoretsk, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Kostiantynivka, and Selydove. Nearly half of the attacks took place around Selydove, which was also hit by guided bombs.

Kurakhove direction: The Ukrainian Defense Forces fended off 25 attacks near Tsukuryne, Hirnyk, Maksymilianivka, and Heorhiivka.

Vremivka direction: Russian forces attempted eight assaults near Vuhledar and Vodiane.

Orikhiv direction: Russian troops tried five times to advance on Ukrainian positions near Robotyne and Novoandriivka.

Kherson direction: Russian troops launched two assaults, which were repelled, causing them to suffer losses.

No signs of Russian offensive groups forming were detected along the Belarusian border.

Along the border with Sumy and Chernihiv regions, Russian forces, operating from Russian territory, are actively using guided bombs and attack UAVs to strike Ukrainian settlements, along with heavy artillery fire.

"Russian guided bombs are also detonating within Russia's Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces are currently active. Available data shows that Russian forces launched 15 airstrikes in the past day, deploying 26 guided bombs," the General Staff added.

  • Throughout the day, Russian forces lost 1,400 soldiers. Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed 10 Russian tanks and 71 artillery systems.
