189 combat clashes at Russian-Ukrainian frontline, Russia deploys 128 KAB bombs

This was reported by Ukraine's General Staff.

Over the past day, Russia launched four missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using six missiles, as well as 74 air strikes, in particular, dropping 128 KABs. In addition, Russian forces carried out 4,694 attacks.

Russia carried out air strikes, targeting 27 settlements across Ukraine.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops attempted 16 times to storm near Burhuvatka, Starytsia, Tykhe and Vovchansk, but were unsuccessful.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were 24 Russia's attacks over the day. The Ukrainian defense forces repelled the assaults near 7 settlements.

In the Lyman direction, Russia troops attacked 24 times. They tried to advance towards 7 settlements and in Serebryanka forest, one firefight is still ongoing.

In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian assault attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka. Russian aircraft attacked the Serebryanka forest with more than 60 unguided missiles.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces launched three attacks near Chasiv Yar, but all attempts in the area were successfully repelled.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops carried out 18 attacks near Toretsk, Zalizne, Nelipivka and Shcherbynivka, suffering losses and retreating.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted 43 assault and offensive actions by Russian forces across nine settlements. The most intense concentration of attacks occurred near Selydove, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled over 20 assaults.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces rebuffed 31 attacks on positions near 5 settlements. Russian troops were most actively trying to advance near Kurakhove and Heorhiivka.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian troops made eight assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka and Zolota Nyva, actively using attack and bomber aircraft.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops forces attacked near Mala Tokmachka, received a fierce rebuff and suffered losses.

The Russian invading troops did not conduct any assault operations in the Prydniprovskyi direction.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups formation were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia is actively using artillery and aviation attacking Ukrainian settlements from its territory.

The operation in the Kursk region is also underway.

• Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,370 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 44 armored vehicles and shot down 98 drones.
