153 clashes at front: Russian army launches 38 attacks in Ukraine's Kurakhove sector
Since the beginning of the day, 153 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Russian army launched 38 attacks in the Kurakhove direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 4 p.m.
Russian forces shelled Velyka Berizka, Porozok, Bachivsk in the Sumy region, Senkivka in the Chernihiv region, and Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region using tube artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses eight times near Vovchansk, Kozacha Lopan, and Hoptivka.
In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, and Novoyehorivka, with three more clashes ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Russian troops launched 13 attacks near Hrekivka, Druzhelyubivka, Novoyehorivka, Zarichne, Terny, and Torske; three battles are still underway.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled ten attacks near Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, and Stupochky; two clashes are ongoing.
In the Toretsk sector, twelve clashes are ongoing near Toretsk, Nelipivka, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 26 of 28 attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Dachenske, Zhovte, Chumatske, and Novyi Trud, with two battles ongoing.
In the Kurakhove sector, Russian forces launched 38 attacks near Sontsivka, Berestky, Zoria, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, Dalnie, Katerynivka, Romanivka, Antonivka, Hanivka, and Uspenivka; 12 clashes are still underway.
In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 15 attacks near Veselyi Hai, Kostyantynopolske, Rozlyv, Velyka Novosilka, and Novopil.
In the Siversk, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovskyi sectors, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive actions.
