152 frontline clashes reported: intense fighting in Siversk, Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Vremivka sectors

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 4:00 p.m.

"The situation on the front line remains complex. Ukrainian Defense Forces are directing their efforts to thwart Russia’s offensive plans and to destroy Russian personnel and equipment," the General Staff emphasized.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russians are attempting to exert pressure on Ukrainian units near Vysoka Yaruha, Vovchansk, and Tykhe. Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian positions nine times, with one battle still ongoing. Airstrikes with guided bombs targeted Baranivka and Shopyne.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian troops launched four attacks on Ukrainian positions near Zahryzove and Lozova. Three clashes are still ongoing. 

In the Lyman sector, the Russian invading army attacked seven times near Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Terny, Tverdokhlibove, and Nadiia. One clash is ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defense forces repelled ten attacks; 14 clashes are currently ongoing. Russians attack near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, and Vyimka. Russian aviation targeted Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces attacked three times near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attacked seven times near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Ukrainian forces have already repelled two of them; the fighting continues, with Russians actively using bomber aircraft on Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 20 Russian attacks on the Ukrainian defenders’ positions took place over the past day near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zelene, Pishchane, and Novoolenivka. The Ukrainian defense forces repelled 13 attacks; seven clashes are still ongoing. Russians used unguided aerial missiles on Oleksandropil and dropped bombs on Mykolaivka.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian forces attacked 23 times near Stari Terny, Sontsivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, and Uspenivka. Ukrainian forces have already repelled 15 attacks; fighting continues. Russia struck Bahatyr, Andriivka, and Oleksiivka with guided bombs.

In the Vremivka sector, 13 clashes are still ongoing near Kostiantynopil, Sukhi Yaly, Rozlyv, Zelene, Trudove, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, and Makarivka. Ukrainian troops have already repelled 12 assaults.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian occupation forces continue shelling Ukrainian territory, targeting civilian infrastructure and populated areas.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian troops twice unsuccessfully attempted to storm Ukrainian positions.

The operation in the Kursk region is ongoing.

"Russian aviation and artillery continue to strike their own territory. Ukrainian forces have repelled 11 attacks today, with clashes ongoing in 17 locations," the General Staff stated.
