Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, five combat clashes took place near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, the number of Russian attacks increased to six over the day. The Ukrainian defense forces repelled an assault near Novoosynove, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russia attacked 13 times near Nevske, Makiivka, Terny and in the Serebryanka forest.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian forces carried out 19 attacks near Druzhba, Pivnichne, Zalizne, Niu York and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 52 attacks over the last day. Russia's troops attacked in the vicinity of ten different settlements and acted with significant support of bombers and attack aircraft.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 assault attacks near Kostiantynivka, Paraskoviivka and Pobieda, where Russia's army continues its attempts to break through the Ukrainian troops' defense. The occupying Russian forces lost a large number of tanks and other armored vehicles in the sector yesterday.

In the Vremivka direction, Russia made nine attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane, Velyka Novosilka and Kostiantynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops are trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Four Russian attacks were stopped near Mala Tokmachka.

In the Kherson direction, three Russian attacks were unsuccessful. Russian troops suffered losses.

No signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups were detected along the Belarus border.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army maintains a military presence, shells settlements from Russia's territory, and uses FPV drones to carry out attacks.

Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying Russian forces, depleting Russia's offensive potential along the entire front line and in the rear.

  • Over the past day of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to eliminate another 1,060 Russian soldiers and dozens of pieces of equipment.
