125 combat clashes occur at front: tense situation in Kurakhove sector - Ukraine's General Staff

On November 11, 125 combat engagements were reported on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Russian army is focusing most of its attacks on the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors

Ukraine's General Staff reported that since the start of the day, 125 combat engagements have taken place at the front. Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions, stopping the enemy, and thwarting Russian plans.

During the day, Russian forces fired artillery at several towns, including Riasne, Basivka, Novodmytrivka, Pokrovka, Pavlivka, Oleksandriia, Kamianetska Sloboda, Bilovody, Miropillia, and Dmytrivka in Sumy region, as well as Tymofiivka in Kharkiv region.

Frontline situation

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces made one attempt to advance near Kindrashivka during the day, but the attack was successfully repelled, and the situation remains under control.

In the Lyman sector, seven engagements took place near Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, and Serebrianka. One firefight is still ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, Russian forces launched one offensive near Vyimka and carried out six airstrikes with guided bombs near Zakitne and Siversk.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian bombers and attack aircraft targeted areas near Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove, and Kramatorsk. Ukrainian defenders repelled an attack near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attacked four times in the areas of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, but all were repelled by Ukrainian defenders. Russian troops also dropped 13 guided aerial bombs on the settlements of Toretsk, Katerynivka, Petrivka, and Kostiantynivka, and launched nine unguided aerial missiles at Druzhba.

The Pokrovsk sector remains highly active, with 14 clashes of varying intensity. Fighting continues near Selydove, and Ukrainian forces repelled 13 attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Hryhorivka, and Lysivka.

The situation is difficult in the Kurakhove sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled eight attacks near Illinka, Novoselydivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Katerynivka, and Kurakhove, and are continuing to fight off 13 more engagements.

In the Vremivkа sector, Russian forces attacked 11 times near Trudove, Makarivka, Novodarivka, Rivnopole, and Zelene Pole.

In the Huliaipole and Prydniprovskyi sectors, no active operations were conducted by Russian forces.

Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one attack in the Orikhiv sector.

  • In the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,770 soldiers and several military vehicles on the front lines in Ukraine.
