109 clashes at front: Ukrainian forces repel 28 of 36 Russian attacks near Pokrovsk

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information in its update as of 4:00 p.m.

Invading Russian forces continue their offensives against Ukrainian defenders.  

Border settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions suffered from Russian shelling, while several locations in the Sumy region were also targeted by airstrikes.  

Situation on key frontlines  

Kharkiv direction: One unsuccessful Russian assault near Vovchansk.  

Kupiansk direction: Four assaults near Pishchane, Zahryzove, and Stepova Novoselivka, with one battle ongoing.  

Lyman direction: 14 Russian attacks near multiple locations, with six battles still ongoing.  

Siversk direction: Two Russian assaults near Bilohorivka and Ivano-Darivka repelled.  

Kramatorsk direction: Four attacks stopped near Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne, with two ongoing.  

Toretsk direction: Ten Russian assaults near Toretsk, with four battles still ongoing.  

Pokrovsk direction: 36 Russian attacks aimed at displacing Ukrainian forces; 28 repelled, fighting continues. Airstrikes hit Pokrovsk and Udachne.  

Novopavlivka direction: Six attacks near several locations, with four battles ongoing. Airstrike on Novopavlivka.  

Huliaipole direction: Eight enemy assaults near Novosilka and Privilne, along with airstrikes on nearby villages.  

Orikhiv direction: Seven Russian attacks, two ongoing.  

Prydniprovskyi direction: One failed Russian assault.  

Kursk region: Nine Russian attacks repelled, five still ongoing.  

• Since the beginning of the day, Russia has conducted 14 airstrikes, dropping 24 guided bombs and launching 145 artillery strikes, including five from multiple rocket launchers. The situation remains unchanged on other frontlines.
