105 combat clashes occur at front, Russia attacks Ukrainian positions in 9 directions

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.

In the Kharkiv sector, four combat engagements occurred, with Russia attacking the defensive lines near Vovchansk. Two of these clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, there have been 13 combat engagements since the start of the day. Russian forces launched offensives near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Kolisnykivka, Stelmakhivka, and Berestove. Three of these attacks are currently ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian army carried out nine attacks near Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, and Nevske. Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks, while five are still ongoing.

In the Siversk sector, the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled four Russian offensives near Verkhniokamianske and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, there were three firefights. Russian forces advanced toward Kalynivka and Klishchiivka, with one attack still ongoing. The situation remains under control by Ukrainian troops.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops attempted to push Ukrainian forces out of positions near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Nelipivka, and Romanivka. Four engagements have concluded, with six ongoing. Additionally, Russia’s aircraft launched unguided aerial missiles near Druzhba and dropped two guided aerial bombs near Dachne.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russia conducted 29 assaults in Vozdvyzhenka, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Krutyi Yar, Hrodivka, and Mykhailivka. They also carried out an air strike on Oleksandropil. Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the Russian offensive, having repelled 18 attacks, with 11 battles still ongoing. Russia’s losses in this sector are being assessed.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Russian army launched 16 attacks near Ukrainsk, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka. Fourteen attempts to advance were repelled, with two ongoing.

In the Vremivkа sector, Russia launched 15 assaults on Ukrainian positions, particularly near Vodiane, Vuhledar, and Prechystivka. Seven battles have concluded, and eight are ongoing. Additionally, the Russian army used unguided aerial missiles to target Kostiantynivka and Novodarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, while there were no offensive actions, Russian forces used aviation to strike Novoandriivka and Mala Tokmachka.

Russia shells Ukraine with artillery and mortars

On September 2, in the Sumy region, Russian artillery and mortar fire targeted Slavhorod, Oleksandrivka, Bachivsk, Sopych, Sydorivka, and Tymofiivka. Additionally, the Russians fired guided aerial bombs at Hlukhiv, Bilopillia, and Zarutske.
