104 combat clashes occur at front, situation is difficult in Toretsk, Pokrovsk sectors - Ukraine's General Staff

Throughout the day, the Russian army tries to break into the Ukrainian troops’ defense and attempt to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russians tried to attack three times. Fighting continues in the area of Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops have repelled 10 Russian assaults since the beginning of the day. The battle near Synkivka is ongoing. The outskirts of Petropavlivka came under an air strike.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops intensified pressure in the area of Chasiv Yar. Two battles are taking place. In total, the enemy attacked here five times today.

The number of Russian attacks in the Toretsk sector increased to 25. Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled 22 offensive attempts. Three attacks are still ongoing. The Russians used aircraft and bombed Toretsk with guided bombs.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the invading Russian troops are keeping up the pressure. Since the beginning of the day, they have attacked Ukrainian defenses 23 times. Seven assault operations are underway.

There was also one more enemy attack in the Prydniprovskyi sector. In total, it was the seventh attack of the day, six of which have already been repelled.

In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.

Over the last day, 148 combat engagements took place at the front 

According to updated information, over the past day, the Russian troops launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, using one missile, 51 air strikes (using 74 combat aircraft), and fired over 3,000 times, including 127 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

At night, the invading forces launched another massive air strike. Ukrainian defense forces destroyed all 23 Shahed attack UAVs and five out of six hostile missiles.

Yesterday, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile troops and artillery destroyed three Russia's control points, one air defense facility, two ammunition depots and 15 areas of personnel concentration.

In total, over the past day, the total losses of the Russian Federation amounted to 1,260 people, three tanks, nine armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, five air defense systems, 24 UAVs, 61 vehicles and 11 units of special equipment.
