102 battles recorded in Ukraine with heaviest Russian attacks in Pokrovsk, Kursk sectors

Since the beginning of Monday, May 26, 102 combat engagements have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most attacks were recorded on the Pokrovske and Kursk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Since the start of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line is 102.

The invaders struck areas in Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Artillery shelling hit settlements such as Zaliznyi Mist, Pokrovka, Bila Hora, Kucherivka, Bobylivka, Oleksandrivka, Zarichne, Velyka Pysarivka, Progres, Bachivsk, and Myropilske; enemy airstrikes targeted the areas near Osoivka and Uhroidy.

Frontline situation

Ukrainian soldiers repelled one attack near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction; one battle is currently ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian enemy tried four times to advance on Ukrainian positions near Zahryzove and toward Petropavlivka. The fight continues.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian aggressor attacked 10 times in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Ridkodub, Yampilivka, and Torske. Four battles are currently ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian military units repelled the Russian enemy’s advance near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two Russian attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian troops attacked five times near Ozarianivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbynivka. Two battles continue.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian defenders 45 times near Zorya, Oleksandropil, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, and Andriivka. Ten battles continue. The settlement of Novotoretske was hit by Russian guided bombs.

In the Novopavlivka direction, defenders repelled attacks near Kostyantynopil, Bahatyr, Odradne, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, and Vilne Pole. Ten of fourteen Russian offensive actions were repelled; fighting continues.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the Russian enemy launched unguided rocket strikes on Malynivka and Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped three Russian attacks. The enemy attempted to advance near Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, and toward Novoandriivka.

The Russian forces made one unsuccessful attempt to advance on the Prydniprovskyi direction. The settlement of Odradokamyanka was hit by an airstrike.

In the Kursk direction, 13 battles took place today, with three ongoing. The Russian army also launched six airstrikes, dropping nine guided bombs, and carried out 116 artillery shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements.

• Since the evening of Sunday, May 25, the Russian army launched a record number of drones at Ukraine since the start of the large-scale war, and closer to morning, missiles appeared in the airspace. The attacks caused damage in several regions.
