The Governor of the Oryol Region, Andrey Klychkov, reported the information on Telegram.
"Two unmanned aerial vehicles crashed on the territory of the city of Oryol on the fuel and energy complex. The fire was promptly localized, and the necessary assistance is being provided," the governor said in a statement.
According to Baza, three people were injured as a result of the drone crash. They have shrapnel wounds. Later, Klychkov confirmed this information.
"During the attack... three people were injured and suffered moderate health damage... Two more refused hospitalization," the governor said.
Pro-government Russian Telegram channels claim that the tank was empty and no one was injured. The first drone did not cause any significant consequences, but the second one started a fire. The photo shows a column of smoke rising into the sky.
Around 14:00, the governor of the neighboring Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, reported on the air defense operation. A few minutes later, he added that three drones had been shot down in the sky over the region, and then another one. The governor also noted that one person was killed.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that "four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the territory of Kursk region and two were intercepted over the territory of Oryol region by air defense systems".
The third region of the Russian Federation that was attacked today was Bryansk Oblast. The governor of the region, Aleksandr Bogomaz, said that "the UAV was destroyed over the Bryansk region by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense. There were no casualties or damage".
