The General Staff states this on Facebook.

Russians put pressure on their conscripts to sign contracts, replenishing manpower losses

"One of the military units stationed in South Ossetia is actively working with conscripts to get them to sign contracts and participate in combat operations in Ukraine. It has been established that between March 1 and March 10, more than 50 Russian conscripts signed contracts. Without receiving proper combat training, they were sent to Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region," the General Staff noted.

In Zaporizhzhia, Russian invaders are trying to prevent local residents from monitoring the movement of enemy forces

In 3 settlements in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia, the invaders made visits to local residents. Thus, the Russian military reminded people to stay in safe places and not to leave their homes.

"This may indirectly indicate that the Russian occupiers are trying to prevent the local population from observing the planned transfer of manpower and military equipment to the front line," the military said.

Within a day, the Russian forces launched a missile strike and 48 air strikes, in particular in Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions

Yesterday, the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia: the missiles hit a multi-storey building, causing deaths and injuries among civilians. The Russian occupiers also carried out 48 air strikes, including on civilian critical infrastructure in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions.

The Russian occupation forces used 21 Shahed-136 UAVs from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, 16 of which were shot down by the defense. As a result of enemy UAV strikes, there are dead and wounded civilians. In particular, the invaders fired 75 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 83 enemy attacks and destroyed a Russian electronic warfare station

The Russian army continues to conduct offensive actions at the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Vuhledar directions, while defending themselves at the other locations. Thus, over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 83 enemy attacks in the eastern section of the frontline.

At the same time, Ukrainian aviation attacked the Russian air defense system and carried out 12 strikes on areas where occupiers’ personnel and military equipment were concentrated.

Missile and artillery units struck 1 command post, 3 areas of enemy personnel concentration, an ammunition depot and 1 enemy electronic warfare station

Situation in different directions

The operational situation in the Northern and Northeastern Ukrainian borders remains unchanged, and no enemy offensive groups were detected. The Russian leadership continues to use the infrastructure of the Belarus Republic to train Russian troops, maintaining a military presence in the border areas.

During the day, the Russian forces fired on the areas of 3 settlements in Chernihiv region; 10 in Sumy region and 8 in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the Russian enemy tries to break Ukrainian defense. It conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinity of 3 settlements. Russian forces fired artillery near 1 locality in Kharkiv region, 3 in Luhansk region, and 5 in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian occupiers continue to conduct offensive actions, losing a significant amount of manpower, weapons and military equipment. Ukraine's defenders have been repelling numerous enemy attacks around the clock in the areas of 3 settlements. More than 15 localities in the Donetsk region near the contact line came under enemy fire.

In the Avdiivka, Marinka and Vuhledar directions, the Russian troops conducted offensive actions in the vicinity of 10 settlements, but they failed. More than 20 localities of Donetsk region came under enemy fire.

The occupying Russian forces are conducting defensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. More than 45 settlements near the contact line, including those in the Zaporizhzhia region and the city of Kherson, came under fire.
