Russia tries to carry out attacks on Donetsk region from three sides - Zgurets

He expressed this opinion on Espreso.

"The logic of the Russian troops does not change, they are trying to carry out attacks from three sides: on Bakhmut, attempts to push through in the Siversk area using artillery, and actions in the direction of Maryinka - Avdiyivka - Pisky, where the enemy is trying to push our line away from Donetsk. These three  areas remain the most tense and hot," the military expert noted.

Serhiy Zgurets noted that such actions of the Russians, especially in the zones of Bakhmut, Donetsk, Maryinka and Avdiyivka, will continue for a long time.

"Because the largest amount of enemy artillery is concentrated there, and also in the Bakhmut zone, groups of Wagner PMC are operating, which are considered the most prepared, compared to other units of the Russian troops. And the actions in the Avdiyivka area are carried out by corps from the DPR and LPR," he explained.
