Russia to train Chinese troops to counter western weapons
Based on combat experience from the war, Russia will train 600 Chinese military personnel to counter Western weaponry
Kyiv Post reported this, citing a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.
The source said that despite publicly assuring a desire for dialogue with the U.S., the Kremlin continues to expand military cooperation with China. In 2025, about 600 Chinese servicemen will train at Russian military bases and centers.
“The Kremlin has decided to allow Chinese military personnel to study and adopt the combat experience Russia has gained in its war against Ukraine,” a source told Kyiv Post.
The training will focus on countering Western weapons and will emphasize tank crews, artillery units, engineers, and air defense specialists.
Ukrainian intelligence highlights that Moscow and Beijing’s actions clearly show the Russian regime’s intention to move alongside China toward a global confrontation with the West.
