Russia targets grain infrastructure in Odesa region

On the night of August 22-23, Russian terrorists targeted Odesa region with attack UAVs: a grain warehouse and a transshipment complex were hit in the Danube basin

The press service of the Southern Defense Forces informed that the Russian Federation attacked civilian infrastructure in Odesa.

“The enemy aimed at the granaries and the production/transshipment complex in the Danube area. Warehouses caught fire, but firefighters promptly controlled the situation. They are still actively working at the scene,” according to the message.

Later on, the Air Force confirmed that their air defense units successfully eliminated 9 drones of the Shahed-136/131 type during the night in Odesa region. 

Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, assured that there were no civilian casualties. All relevant services are currently engaged at the site.

During the night, the Air Force warned about the deployment of Russian drones. Post 03:00, reports emerged regarding explosions occurring in Odesa.
