Russia suffers numerous losses near Bakhmut. AFU repel all attacks near Lyman and Avdiivka - AFU General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information on Facebook.

"The enemy continues to launch offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction, suffering numerous losses. At the Lyman and Avdiivka directions, the conducted unsuccessful offensives, all enemy attacks were repelled," the report says.

Russian troops continue to suffer enormous losses in battles with the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

"More than 450 injured Russian occupiers are being treated in the hospital of the occupied town of Dniprorudne, Zaporizhzhia region. Vasylivka district hospital, Zaporizhzhia region, is also overcrowded with injured Russian soldiers," the statement said.

In addition, on the temporarily occupied territories of the Ukrainian Crimea, Russia continues to conduct covert mobilization at the expense of local residents.

In the city of Sevastopol, since January 20, 2023, Russian military commissariats have been tasked with replenishing Russia's losses in the so-called special military operation at the expense of local civilians from the Black Sea Fleet units.

During the day, Russian troops have launched 5 missile attacks on Ukrainian civilian objects and 13 airstrikes

More than 30 Ukrainian settlements came under tank, mortar and artillery fire in Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

Kupiansk direction: Russian troops fired at 4 settlements in the Kharkiv region and 2 more in the Luhansk region.

Lyman direction: Russian troops fired at 5 settlements in the Luhansk region.

Bakhmut direction: over 20 settlements of the Donetsk region were shelled by tanks and the entire range of artillery. 

Avdiivka direction: 11 settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.

Vuhledar direction: Russian troops fired from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at 5 settlements in the Donetsk region.

Zaporizhzhia direction: over 20 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region were hit by tank and artillery fire.

Kherson direction: 9 settlements in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson came under MLRS, cannon artillery, and mortar fire.

Ukrainian Air Forces destroy 3 Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters in 30 minutes 

Over the day, units of the Air Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 3 Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters in 30 minutes, which were performing tasks near the village of Yevhenivka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.

Also, near Bakhmut, Ukrainian defenders shot down a Russian Su-25 aircraft. The missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit 8 Russia personnel concentrations over the day.
