Russia subjects Sumy region to intense rocket using over 150 shells, causing one fatality
On June 26, Russian forces have subjected Sumy region to intense barrel and rocket artillery fire, using more than 150 shells, on four communities in the Sumy region.

Sumy regional military administration head Dmytro Zhyvytsky shared the update in his Telegram channel.
"Enemies fired from their territory with artillery, including aircraft. Helicopters fired unguided missiles. The territories of four communities of the Sumy region were affected: Yunakivska, Bilopilska, Krasnopilska and Shalyhinska," Zhyvytsky said.
During the day, Russian forces fired more than 150 shells and mines at the communities. There were about 100 shellings in the Krasnopilska community.
"Private farm buildings, a water tower and a farm were damaged in the communities. One person was killed and one was hospitalized," he summed up.
