Serhiy Bratchuk from the Odesa regional military administration provided this information.

He explained that these drones struck the port infrastructure in the region, sparking a fire, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters.

As of the morning of September 3, there were reports of 2 injured civilians, who received immediate medical attention.

Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa regional military administration, later confirmed this information. He stated that Russian terrorists had attacked civilian infrastructure in the southern part of Odesa for a duration of 3.5 hours during the night.

The injured civilians were identified as port employees, and all relevant services were at the scene. Law enforcement agencies were documenting the consequences of these Russian crimes.

The State Emergency Service published photos showing the cleanup of the aftermath of this terrorist attack by the Russians.

The Air Force reported that on the night of September 3, Russian occupiers launched multiple waves of attacks using Shahed-136/131 UAVs from the south and southeast.

In total, 25 Shahed drones were launched, targeting the southern regions of the Odesa region.

Air Force units, in cooperation with air defense from other branches of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, managed to destroy 22 of these drones.

The Air Force detected the launch of the UAVs at 23:42 on September 2, noting that “they were launched from the Chauda training ground (Crimea) and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) toward the southern regions.”

According to the Air Force's information, as of 01:20 on September 3, the group of Shahed drones was in the Black Sea and heading towards the south of Odesa.

Residents in the Izmail district were advised to seek shelter, and air defense measures were initiated.

At 04:51, the threat of the UAV attacks for Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions was successfully repelled, and at approximately 06:15, the threat was completely lifted for all regions, including Zaporizhzhia.
