Russia steals Ukraine’s solar power plants and moves them to its territory
Russian soldiers plan to move private solar power plants stolen from the Kherson region to Russian territory. They also ban locals from using boats
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine reports the information on Telegram.
“In the occupied areas of the Kherson region, the Russian forces announced an "audit of solar electricity generation facilities". If the owners of the property do not appear within the certain time to certify their ownership, the property will “become the property of the state" (will be stolen) and transferred to Khersonoblenergo State Enterprise, a fake company created by Russian authorities,” the directorate writes.
Russian forces then plan to transport the solar power plants to the Russian Federation territory.
Russian occupation authorities also ban civilians from using any watercraft, otherwise, vehicles will either be destroyed or confiscated.
Meanwhile, the Russian occupiers continue the illegal evacuation of Ukrainians from the right bank of the Dnipro River.
"In order to encourage people to move, Russia offered them the so-called housing certificates for the purchase of housing in Russia. Russian forces also moved Ukrainian children from boarding schools in Kherson to the territory of Crimea. At present time, the children have been placed in one of the psychiatric hospitals of Simferopol," reports the directorate.
Russian soldiers also moved prisoners of the Kherson colony to the Crimea.
Besides, they forcibly evict local residents from their apartments and houses - calling it "evacuation" and giving the buildings to the use of the Russian military. The same goes for vehicles.
"For the past several weeks, collaborators and representatives of the occupation administration have been resettled in boarding houses located on Arabat Spit, Crimea. The owners of recreation centers are being forced to resettle the "displaced persons". In addition, the Russian military is searching for free premises for its accommodation," the directorate said.
