This was reported by the Centre for Strategic Communications.
"The Ukrainian military recorded a video message to Volodymyr Zelenskyy demanding that he stop making claims against Chief of Staff Valeriy Zaluzhnyi and harming the army, as the military is ready to move on Kyiv and start an armed uprising," a fragment of the message with this fake is being circulated by the Russian media.
In fact, no such appeal from the military has been published in any Ukrainian media or on other verified resources, and the original source of the message is a Facebook user.
"The proof that this video is a propaganda production is also the uniforms worn by the 'military'. This is not a modern Ukrainian military uniform, because the camouflage of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers is much lighter and has a dirty yellow colour, while Russian soldiers wear dark swampy uniforms," the StopFake fact-checkers found out.
Centre for Strategic Communications also noted that the young men in the video are wearing a type of uniform that Armed Forces of Ukraine have not used it since 2014.
"The only ones who still use this print are the soldiers of the Russian airborne troops," the statement said.
