Fake information is spreading online that a "barrier detachment" of local and foreign mercenaries recently shot a Ukrainian unit in the Kherson region that refused to cross to the left bank of the Dnipro River.
"This information, as well as the video being circulated, is fake news by Russian propaganda. It is also impossible to identify the area in the video and it is unclear where the fire is coming from. In addition, the video does not show the faces of the military. All these signs point to the fact that this is a Russian propaganda video aimed at demoralising the Ukrainian military!" the analysts pointed out.
As evidence, the propagandists attach a video of two Ukrainian soldiers allegedly being fired upon from their positions.
