The Center for Countering Disinformation reported the information.
Former Pentagon official Stephen Bryan expressed doubts about the veracity of the video with Zaluzhnyi on his Weapons and Strategy website: "The video shows him waving to the cameraman and chatting, but there is no sound. The waving motion also is rather strange. It is hard to recall a military or civilian leader waving at a cameraman. There also are some facial differences if you look carefully, especially the nose. Is the video Zaluzhnyi a double? We live in a time of deep fakes where AI tech can emulate almost any video image."
The Center emphasizes that Russia continues to spread manipulative information about the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Another manipulation is a post by Irish journalist Chay Bowes on Twitter: "The perpetually hateful and willfully ignorant Senator Lindsey Graham thanking Zelenskyy for allowing the US to vaporise Ukraines male population."
Former Central Intelligence Agency agent Phil Giraldi said on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel: "He (Biden - ed.) wants to look like we're defending democracy. If I hear of democracy one more time I think I'm going to get ill. We're not defending democracy anywhere. Ukraine is not a democracy.”
The Center states that such statements are disinformation.
On May 20, Russia launched disinformation about the alleged disappearance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi. It also claimed that Zaluzhnyi was injured and underwent skull trepanation. Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense denied the fakes.
On May 25, Anatoliy Shtefan (Stirlitz) showed a video with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
