Russia shells Zaporizhzhia thermal power plant, damaging central heating facility - mayor of Energodar
On August 22, the central heating facility was damaged by Russian mortar shelling in Energodar, there are reports of one dead and several wounded.
This was announced by the mayor of Energodar Dmytro Orlov.
"There are reports from Energodar about the death of a man and several others wounded as a result of shelling in the area of the Zaporizhzhya TPP.
Russian occupiers have traditionally blamed the Ukrainian Armed Forces for this. But the circumstances of the event raise big questions. Judging by the video footage from the occupants of the damage to the car with almost equal holes from the bullets, the car was fired at almost point-blank. Probably from a machine gun," wrote Orlov.
According to Orlov, the fact of the person's death is being clarified.
It is known for certain that the central heating station was damaged by mortar attacks in Energodar today. It will take time to restore the water supply. In advance, repair work will continue until the morning.
