Russia shells Zaporizhzhia region, killing 1 woman, damaging high-rise buildings
On the morning of February 11, the Russian army has shelled the village of Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region, with artillery, killing a woman, damaging high-rise buildings
This was reported by Ukraine’s Office of the Prosecutor General.
At about 10:40 a.m. on February 11, Russian troops attacked the village of Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, a 70-year-old woman died of shrapnel wounds. The shock wave also shattered windows in high-rise buildings.
The Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation in a criminal proceeding over the violation of the laws and customs of warfare combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to Ukraine’s Security Service’s Office in Zaporizhzhia region.
