Russia shells Sumy region, damaging buildings, injuring 10 civilians, killing 2

Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Richky and Mykolaivka communities came under massive attack. Russian troops struck with various types of weapons.
In the Bilopillia community, Russian forces launched an air strike on the town of Bilopillia. There were also 80 Grad MLRS hits and 20 hits as a result of strikes from cannon artillery. The shelling killed 2 people and injured 9 in the town. An administrative building, a school, and a residential building were also destroyed. Apartment buildings, private houses and a dormitory were damaged.
In the Vorozhba community, the town of Vorozhba was shelled with MLRS. As a result of the attack, a person was injured, a residential building and an outbuilding were damaged.
At night, the Russian army attacked the village of Vyry, Richky community. Russian forces launched an air strike and a “kamikaze” drone strike. The shelling damaged a kindergarten, an administrative building, and destroyed a school. Artillery also struck the village of Richky, damaging private houses, an administrative building and a gymnasium.
In the Mykolaivka community, an agricultural company was shelled by aircraft. Production facilities and agricultural machinery were damaged.
The Nova Sloboda community was also shelled at night. There were no casualties.
The head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, responded to the shelling of the Sumy region and posted a video showing the rubble after the night strikes.
"Bilopillia. Sumy region. After the night attack with Russian air bombs, the rubble is being cleared," he wrote.
