The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak reported about this.
"According to the updated information, 10 houses in the city were damaged by shelling. One outbuilding was destroyed, and another 4 were damaged. Power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged," he wrote.

"A night without shelling was followed by a loud morning for Nikopol. Around seven in the morning Russians shelled the city with artillery fire. We already know about one casualty. The consequences of the morning attack are being clarified," he wrote.
Yevtushenko added that other communities in the Nikopol district spent the night without shelling or incidents. He urged citizens to heed the warnings of danger and not to ignore air raid warnings during the day.
Last night, the air alert in the city of Nikopol and Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region lasted 9 hours and 46 minutes - from 8:51 p.m. on October 4 to 6:38 a.m. on October 5.

On the night of October 5, Russia launched several groups of Shahed drones. An infrastructure facility was damaged in the Kirovohrad region. Air defense forces destroyed 24 Russian drones: 10 - over Mykolaiv region, 9 - over Kirovohrad region, 5 - over Odesa region.
