Russia shells Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, Synelnyky districts overnight, injuring at least four elderly people
On the night of August 22, Russian forces have shelled the Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Synelnyky districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring at least four elderly people, destroying and damaging houses, kindergartens, shops, pharmacies, markets, a court, a bus station, an agricultural firm, a school, a cultural center, power lines.
Head of Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported this on Telegram.
"A night of shelling and casualties... The Russian army struck three districts - Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Synelnyky. Nikopol was shelled from Grad MLRS and barrel artillery three times during the night. 42 Russian shells landed in residential areas. Four elderly residents of Nikopol were previously wounded. Two of them are trained," Reznichenko wrote.
As a result of Russian shelling in city 2, two houses were destroyed, and almost 50 were damaged. In addition, the occupiers damaged a kindergarten, shops, pharmacies, markets, a court and a bus station.
"Five fires broke out due to shelling. Firefighters have already tamed the flames. The power line is out of order. Up to 2,000 people are without electricity. Electricians are already working," Reznichenko added.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, the invaders with the Uragan anti-aircraft missile system shelled the Zelenodol community, but there were no casualties or damage.
The Russians fired rockets at the Synelnyky district, destroying an agricultural enterprise, a school and a cultural center. Information about the dead or injured is being ascertained.
