Russia shells maternity ward in Kherson
On December 27, the Russian occupation troops repeatedly opened fire on the maternity ward of a hospital in Kherson
Deputy Head of the Office of Ukraine’s President Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported the information on Telegram.
"Russian troops shelled a maternity ward of a hospital," Tymoshenko wrote.
On December 27, two babies were born in this medical institution.
"Before the attack, doctors managed to perform a C-section. There are 5 women in the institution who have recently given birth," added Tymoshenko.
No one was injured as a result of the attacks.
Earlier, on December 10, Russian troops also shelled a maternity ward of a hospital in Kherson.
Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych said that on December 24, Russian forces shelled 2 hospitals in Kherson, there were no casualties.
On December 27, Russian troops shelled a critical infrastructure enterprise in Kherson with artillery; there were no civilian casualties.
