So far, rescuers have been able to detect only two consequences of night flights. In the Industrial district, the electrical pole and tram rails were actually damaged on the wasteland. Another landing in the area of the district next to a two-story building that has nothing to do with military infrastructure, says Terekhov. Fragments damaged the facade, partially the roof, and windows were broken.
There is no information that anyone was injured.
The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov noted that previously, these were missile strikes, the type of which is determined by law enforcement officers. Shellings were recorded in the Shevchenkivsky and Industrial districts.
"The occupiers did not find another target in Shevchenkivsky district and damaged a hotel and restaurant complex. Another strike was recorded in an open area in the Industrial district, elements of transport and critical infrastructure were damaged. There were no casualties," he wrote.
Suspilne also reported that a series of explosions rang out in Kharkiv on the night of August 9. The air raid alarm sounded twice at night in the city.
Also, on August 8, Russian forces shelled the settlements of Bogodukhiv, Chuguiv, Kharkiv, Loziv, and Izyum districts of the region.

4 people were hospitalized in the region: a 71-year-old woman in the Chuguyiv district, 72- and 45-year-old men in the Dergachyv community, and a 59-year-old man was injured in Kutuzivka. The condition of two patients is serious.
"Active hostilities continue on the contact line. In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy is shelling the positions of our defenders with artillery and tanks, using aviation. The Ukrainian military is confidently holding its positions and retaliating," Synegubov added.
